Bolton: Police say man charged over town centre offences

Nathan Fisher will be in court tomorrow.

He has been charged with nine offence which took place in the centre of Bolton.

Police say the offences include robbery, harassment and assault.

Fisher, aged 24 and from Paderborn Court, Bolton, was arrested following an investigation by the Bolton South Neighbourhood team.

A police spokesperson said: “He has been charged with nine offences that took place in the town centre including robbery, harassment and assault.

“He will be in court tomorrow.”

Police have made 50 arrests in the town centre as part of Operation Overspill, which aimed to tackle night crime.

The work resulted in a drop in drink spiking and robberies.

A dozen dispersal notices were made to remove groups from the town centre whose behaviour could have let to harm to members of the public.
